The work of an organisation aimed at creating jobs and growing the economy in Leicestershire is to be scrutinised.

Andrew Bacon, chairman of the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP), will attend a meeting of Leicestershire County Council's scrutiny commission.

Mr Bacon will tell councillors about the organisation's plans and answer questions at Monday's meeting at County Hall in Glenfield.

Mr Bacon said: "I'm looking forward to appearing before the committee, as I believe that the LLEP has a great story to tell and an inspiring vision for the future."
