Leicester Tigers were forced into a late change for their Aviva Premiership clash with Gloucester.

Ben Youngs, who was suffering with a tight hamstring, was replaced by Sam Harrison, with Pat Phibbs on the bench.

1 min: try (7-0) Another dreadful start by Tigers as Gloucester open the scoring in 50 seconds. The visitors fail to secure the kick-off, the Cherry & Whites quickly put pressure on Leicester's line and Charlie Sharples touches down. Freddie Burns adds the extras.

4 mins: penalty (3-7) Toby Flood gets Leicester on the board.

8 mins: penalty (10-3) The home side re-establish a seven-point lead through Burns.

12 mins: try (10-8) Tigers bounce back again and score a lovely try as in-form Kiwi Scott Hamilton makes a superb finish in the corner. Flood's touchline conversion hits the post.

19 mins: try (17-8) A delightful piece of skill by Gloucester scrum-half Burns, who chips and then catches his own chip at pace with nobody home in the Tigers' backfield. He touches down and converts his own score to complete an electric start by the home side.

39 mins: penalty (17-11) Tigers take the sting out of the Gloucester attack, quieten the home crowd and then reduce the lead to just a converted try at the break when Flood converts a simple kick from in front of the posts. Gloucester's Jimmy Cowan escapes a yellow card despite a cynical professional foul on his own line.

47 mins: penalty (20-11) The hosts make a clinical break out of their own half and win a penalty for offside. Burns converts.

49 mins: penalty (20-14) Tigers win another penalty from a dominant scrum and Flood closes the gap again.

53 mins: try (27-14) In what looks like being the game's crucial moment, Akapusi Qera scores the try of the day. Finished by the Fijian but made by a scintillating run from James Simpson-Daniel, who takes a short pass from Ben Morgan in his own half before working his magic. Burns converts.

58 mins: Yellow card Finally, referee JP Doyle produces a yellow card after numerous repeated offences near their own line by the hosts. Offender-in-chief Cowan is sent off for 10 minutes.

59 mins: Yellow card Just 60 seconds later, Gloucester are down to 13 men as full-back Rob Cook is dismissed for slapping the ball away as Flood's cross-field kick headed into the hands of Vereniki Goneva for a try.

60 mins: Penalty try (27-21) Leicester are rewarded as their forwards ride roughshod over Gloucester and Doyle goes under the posts for a penalty try. Flood adds the extras.

80 mins: In an incredible finish after defending non-stop for 20 minutes, Gloucester repel another five-metre Leicester scrum and a knock-on ends the game.

F-T: Gloucester 27 Tigers 21
