Leicester City Ladies Tigers picked up all three points in an entertaining under-12s league match against Marlborough Rovers.

The excellent Laura Keating scored the only goal of the game in the second half when her powerful long drive was well blocked by the unlucky Rovers goalkeeper but the shot still had enough power to roll over the line.

Mica Goddard turned in her best performance of the season in the Tigers defence, and she was well supported by Lauren O'Connor and the hard-working Shannon Barr in front of excellent goalkeeper Beth Hook.

Birthday girl Lacy Beckett covered every blade of grass and parents' player of the match Kim Yates interchanged well with Rhea Walsh in midfield and attack. Louise Guy added pace when needed.
