“Until we introduce the sin bin for yellow card events, the victim going off for attention allows the offending team numerical advantage which against Brighton cost us the game.
As for Beckford, I thought it was reported as foul and abusive language. If no contact occurred despite the linespersons close presence, and Beckford only "whispered " in the players ear then we are right to appeal. Why was the player not booked for diving? Would it have been his second bookable offence? What if he had been sin-binned for diving?
If the appeal is successful, we get Beckford back but does it recover our lost points caused by another jobsworth getting it wrong- NO. Would we have won the game with 11 men and them down to 10, POSSIBLY
Do we get compensated for 5 points dropped at the end of the season through failure of the Officials to protect the players- NO.
As Graham Taylor once said the decisions of officials cost people their jobs
FA - INTRODUCE THE SIN-BIN NEXT SEASON”

“there was no contact poyet and the player have said so ,,but the lino was only a yard away how did he get that so wrong.conspiricy i recon .we have to get t v and referrals the technolgy has left the game behind .in the fifties and sixties we didnt see hardly any games on the box ,pathe news was about as near as you came to seeing a ref as they used to say a good ref would not be noticed .but they have gone power mad ,how can a commitee decide what is a red card tackle, they are all different ,icy pitch dry pitch wet pitch snowy pitch thick grass short grass ARTIFICIAL they all have a bearing but worst of all is the cheating , and points deducted retrospectively. is the only way to stop it .i,m sick of it”

“Did he swear? Was he sent off for swearing? I thought he was sent of fot a kick/flick at the players head as he stepped over him? Although TV reply shows no contact - hence the appeal!”

“if it was swearing , nothing will be done by the fa . why should it ? yes there are lots of footballers that have done worse etc etc etc but its the rules and at these times the fa get literal to make things stick . cant see it will change their decision appealing .”

“Can't see them getting anything out of it, however if they do, then surely the resultant formation change meant that the decision influenced the outcome of the game.”

“Swearing at the officials is stupid and if he did then he deserves the 3 game ban”
