Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson: We've got more to come
Nigel Pearson said there was more to come from his Leicester City side after their fifth consecutive victory
The 2-0 win against Bristol City made them, briefly, top of the Championship – the first time since 2003.

The City boss admitted it was not his side's best performance during their recent good run, but he expressed his satisfaction with how his side were gelling. But he warned against any perception that City would now march on to automatic promotion.
"We have got more to come," he said.

"We have a young, exciting side and we play some very positive football.
"There is an awful long way to go and it would be wrong to make assumptions that where we are now is where we are going to be throughout the course of the season.
"I think you have to try and keep things in perspective a little bit. Before the season started, we looked at the first 10 games and it was a pretty tough run of games.
"The players and staff have worked exceptionally hard to get into this situation. It is only October but the players can take a lot of credit for how they have applied themselves in those first 10 games."
David Nugent's fifth goal in the last three home games, and an own goal maintained City's 100 per cent record at the King Power Stadium.
However, Pearson admitted recent exertions had started to take their toll on his side.
Defender Sean St Ledger will undergo a scan today on a hamstring injury, while Paul Konchesky was withdrawn at half-time through illness.
Jamie Vardy was also replaced after running himself into the ground.
"We weren't able to capitalise on going ahead. We have had a tough run and one or two just ran out of steam," said Pearson.

“Thanks Norman. Emile will always be special to us. He is LCFC to the bone and his dad is a huge fan.
I think he still has something to offer the game and will probably make an impact.”

“Looking forward to watching Bruno play this Saturday against Del Piero when the Newcastle Jets come to play Sydney FC, there's a load of us going in the away end to cheer him on.
BTW - there's a cracking clip of him as a kid on the Rod Hull & Emu show as a lad running an assault course, at least i think it's him, he didn't fall over once though, so....

“Of topic...But
Great news for me anyway, that Emile Heskey has joined the A league club in Ozzy. I will try to shake his hand when the Newcastle Jets come over to play the Wellington Phoenix at home here in Wellington NZ. It's a very good league, I personally think it's equivalent to at least League one in English soccer.
So Emile should have a great time in Oz, no more freezing cold mornings to attend training. No more Ice and snow.
I am convinced Emile hasn't come down here for the money, I think personally he has made the move to give his wife and kids a better life down under. I will keep the Pro Emile supporters posted on how he's doing.”

“I thought he would stay in England as he said he wanted to coach.
Maybe we sign him in a couple of years just as a coach.”

“yeah he's gone to play for an Australian club hasn't he. Newcastle Jets or something?
Some might say his style might be more suited to Ozzie Rules...! Not me though.”
