Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson said: “We have been operating with a smaller, more balanced squad this season, but we felt the time was right to increase the options available to us.

“Not only do Michael and Jesse add a great deal of quality to the group, they are also the type of hungry young players that will fit in well with what is already a very strong squad.”

I thought your match report was very good, we can all read the match reports on the web site, but it is also great to get a real fans perspective of how the game went, keep them coming

“You may be right, but we are always going to be light in defence unless Whitbread starts to put in some decent performances.

Stranger things have happened. Very much agree with your final point though.”

“Nah I think it's just because we're short in defence which is why Keane has come in.

Lingard was probably just the make-weight. We probably only wanted Keane but Fergie only let us have him if we give Lingard some game time too.

Whitbread just needs game to play himself in, yorkie… I think he'll be back for Saturday. Our back-four will be: Moore/Whitbread/Morgan/RDL.

    Keane and Schlupp subs.

I think our recent 'dip' shows how much SSL and Vardy have added to the team so far this season.”

“It makes you wonder, has Pearson signed these on a months loan with a view to possibly buy?

The loan period can be extended and obviously the January window is looming. It would seem like a great opportunity to get a real look at fresh young talent without any commitment to purchase.

As Pearson has been reluctant to utilise loanees in the past, there may be an ulterior motive this time around. Certainly not a bad idea if that were the case.”

    “Whitbread

    Played 3

    Points 1

Lucky to stay on at Brum

    Sent off at Watford.

We bring in Keane an untried Man Utd Loanee first seen in the Capital Cup game for Man Utd and looked good.

Subbed by Moore in the second half, against Bolton - Result 0-0 but goals leaked now bunged up

Back to the Reserves for Whitbread then !!”

    Walkin along, singin a song
    Walking in a ghosty wonderland.

    Song for Norman:

"S**t posts, no fans. S**t posts, no fans."

    hehe.

Intersting about last night that no-one's mentioned is that Danns didn't even make the bench.

Fair to say I think his time @ LCFC is pretty much over.”

    “Fork tongue make no friends......

Norman 09 rubbish's me, Dorset, Nigel Pearson and anyone else that disagrees with his thoughts..

I rubbish rubbish and can't understand why so many folk supposedly "supporting" (think that should read "following?) the same club cannot accept that winning, losing and drawing is part of the journey.

The only player that I have slated is Beckford who I can honestly say hand on heart from my observations, has never in his time at LCFC looked like he fits.

I do on occasions post silly comments (mainly tongue in cheek) but I thought that was part of the fun.

Sorry N09 that you are so far away and have no say in matters with lcfc. I do go to all home games (3 season tickets) and some away games (but not all) and to be able to post up dates online for those far away seemed to be a good idea at the time. Shan't bother again..

I have always supported Nigel Pearson as our manager and will continue to do so whilst we are still at least safe in the Championship. When he does eventually move on, I'll support the next manager likewise.

Don't be suprised if Southampton come a knocking for him very soon!

Then a lot of "Followers" will get their wish and we will see how long they give the new guy?

Til then, i'm enjoying the fact that lcfc are finally in the mix and no longer 17th and 9 points off the 6th place and leaving us to debate whether we can close the gap or will get sucked into the bottom 3.

We are the best placed since the last time NP was here so its all to be optimistic about.

    Good Bye............”
