The kick-off time for Leicester City's match tonight against Middlesbrough has been delayed by 15 minutes.

The game is now scheduled to kick-off at 8pm.

The Middlesbrough team bus was late arriving at the King Power Stadium after being caught in the traffic gridlock around the city. The bus did not pull into the stadium until after 7pm.

With only half-an-hour to go before the original 7.45pm kick-off, the stands inside the stadium were deserted and there were very few fans milling around outside the ground.

“Waggy and Schlupp should be on the bench as strikers. Schlupp has not been given the patience and care that JV has had but then the manager didn't pay a million for him did he?? not to worry if Geoff has a bit of luck he will be away”

“Take that as a dig ghost I'm finished with the Vardy thing. He was garbage when he came on and nearly blew the game to pot but you are right. NP will be helping him to get pitch time because before not to long he will be out on loan.”

“Isn't it fantastic that our manager has the bottle to give Jamie Vardy invaluable game time needed for his development and see us surge to 2nd place looking every bit promotion candidates for real....”

“Right on two points Alan very wrong on one. Pearson has built a great team and squad. I already have egg on my face over several things but Nigel Pearson would need a trowel to get his egg off as far as Vardy is concerned. he is so put of his depth it's embarrassing. He may as well play with ten men as bring him on. Definate dead wood.”

“Well it stands to reason Dobbo. Nigel has forgotten more than you will ever know about the game. In Nigel we trust, I think he has made up a great team for us in the time he has had. Jamie Vardy will come good given time. Then you will have plenty of egg to wipe of your chops eh!! ha ha!!”

“everything is masked because Kasper made that great save. Ill say now and I don't care what comes back at me that at the point of David Nugent scoring Pearson was in the process waiting to replace him with Vardy. If he had done before that goal Leicester would have lost this match. His fixation with a guy totally out of his league is beyond me.”

“thank God they played so well. can see why Dyer came on as Knockaert did nothing after his great shot but Vardy Noone will ever convince me that guy is worth a place. he is clueless and nearly threw threw the points away to boot.”
