This means City now have just two home games left on a Saturday at 3pm from now until the end of the season – Sheffield Wednesday on March 9 and Watford on April 27 in the penultimate game of the season, which also has a chance of being moved.

City have not had a 3pm Saturday home league game since the 1-0 defeat at the hands of league-leaders Cardiff on December 22.

“And by the way, living in Surrey watching Leicester City on TV does not make us "your team". If all of Leicester City fans adopted your attitude and support, there'd be no club!

Get yourself down to Guildford City where you belong.”

“Surrey Fox, what an utterly ridiculous comment. If it wasn't for the paying fans there'd be no Leicester City Football Club!

Do you seriously think that the club would survive with an empty stadium apart from the sky camera man and you sitting at home paying sky for the privilege?

Season Ticket holders pay out significant sums of money each season to support their club and many, if not most, do so on the basis that the majority of games will be played on a Saturday.

The amount of games that have been moved this season will mean that many are out of pocket. That might suit you sitting in Surrey watching us play Wolves on a Thursday night but the season ticket holder who's missed yet another game might be thinking whether its worth renewing next season.

And if you think that's insignificant, ask the club how they'd feel if several thousand season tickets weren't renewed next season!”

“So only 1 Saturday home game left, with all the rest on a Tuesday or Friday night. I'm starting to miss a 3pm kick off on a Saturday!”

“football should embrace the nfl's logic - games cant be televised unless they get sold out first. They call this a blackout, when games dont sell out and cant be on tv. brilliant idea.”

“What a typical self centred ill informed opinion Surrey_whatever!

What the hell has having a season ticket got to do with a player's weekly wage? As for owning the club, i'll never be able to do that unless those numbers come in. And if they do mate your type won't get to see any games cos i'll pay to keep you away.

You enjoy watching on TV. your post should have read something like.

I live in Surrey and have no intention of going to lcfc games because I can watch 6 or 7 on the box. Ha Ha to all those loyal City fans who shelled out for season tickets, you mugs!

Stop moaning because I'm alright Jack....

I'm beginning to not be bothered too much if we get promoted because then lcfc will feel the impact of season ticket holders not renewing.... And we can all watch on the TV.”

“Fundamentally, the problem is the out-dated rule that you can't show a live TV game whilst other games are in progress. This rule is now meaningless given the blanket coverage that IPTV and P2P streaming can provide.

So, I don't think it can be too long before all games will be available to watch on TV on a pay-per-view basis. Apparently Sky Sports is already offering 'Day Passes' to their Internet service, which will mean you can 'dip in' and out just to watch a single game.

Pretty much every Premiership game is already available to watch via IPTV. There are pubs around the country which show local Premiership team's game live on TV every Saturday at 3pm.

Hopefully this will mean that games can all go back to being Saturday 3pm kick-offs, and ticket prices will become more reasonable… and then fans can go to games at the traditional times, and Armchair fans can tune in and watch on TV… Then Everybody's Happy!”

“Surrey_Fox - I'm guessing you you don't actually attend matches. As I said earlier, fantastic for armchair supporters. Yes, I can choose not to attend the match (as I will probably have to due to the distance for me), but having already paid up for my season ticket before the season started, I don't have the option of choosing not to pay to attend.”
