Leicester City sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane on loan
Leicester City have signed Tottenham striker Harry Kane on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's trip to face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Kane has made just one Premier League appearance for Spurs but has played in the Europa League for them this season, and has previously gained experience during loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall and Norwich.
He has been capped 14 times at under-19 level by England and has scored six goals.
Kane, who has come through the youth ranks at White Hart Lane, scored for Millwall as City suffered a 2-1 defeat at the New Den April, and made five appearances for the Canaries this season before being recalled by Spurs.
City manager Nigel Pearson said the teenager will strengthen his attacking options during the vital promotion run-in.
"Harry will hopefully bring more goals and fresh impetus," said Pearson. "It keeps the competition for places strong."
