2. Ritchie De Laet

Continued his recent good form as he also provided an attacking threat with his energetic runs from deep.

5. Wes Morgan

Out-muscled Jordan Rhodes and DJ Campbell and produced another near perfect performance. Rhodes barely got a kick.

8

15. Michael Keane

Another mature performance from the young defender alongside his captain. Calm on the ball and he can spot any danger.

8

3. Paul Konchesky

The experienced full-back was bombing forward in the second half like a teenager. He is one of City's most reliable performers this season.

8

24. Anthony Knockaert

The young Frenchman returning to the side last night looked back to his confident best and delighted the crowd with 10 consecutive step overs.

8

4. Danny Drinkwater

The midfield anchorman had an excellent game and managed to get forward much more than usual.

8

10. Andy King

Reads the game so well. Broke up play and snuffed out danger. He is producing a much more all-round contribution this season.

9

7. Ben Marshall

A wonderful cross for the first goal and tortured Blackburn's Dutch defender Karim Rekik to such an extent that he was subbed at half-time.

9

39. Chris Wood

Back on the score-sheet after his penalty miss at Blackpool. His link-up play was outstanding and he provided City with an attacking platform.

8

37. Harry Kane

The teenager deserved his first goal for the club, on his home debut, after an excellent display. He linked-up well with partner Chris Wood.
