Leicester City v Ipswich Town: Minute-by-minute
Not surprisingly after Tuesday's excellent display against Blackburn Rovers, manager Nigel Pearson names an unchanged Leicester City side to face Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
David Nugent fails to recover sufficiently from a neck injury to make the squad, so Harry Kane continues his partnership with Chris Wood in attack.
10 min: Ritchie De Laet's ball into the Ipswich box causes confusion in the home defence. Keeper Stephen Henderson almost misses it with Kane waiting to pounce, but recovers just in time.
23 min: Nice play from City. De Laet plays the ball inside to Anthony Knockaert, who plays a clever pass into the path of Kane. His low cross is just too far in front of Chris Wood six yards out.

27 min: A piece of individual brilliance from Kane, who flicks the ball over a defender, and runs on to the ball but his shot hits the side netting. He should have hit the target.
32 min: Danny Drinkwater makes a clever break into the box and pulls the ball back for De Laet. His cross is cleared only as far as Paul Konchesky, but his shot is well over the bar.
33 min: Michael Chopra is almost in behind the City defence but Michael Keane recovers. Chopra appeals for handball when he tries to flick the ball over Keane inside the area but the referee says no.
35 min: Luke Chambers rises above Wood to meet a Carlos Edwards corner and Kasper Schmeichel has to push the ball away at full stretch. From the second corner, David McGoldrick heads over at the far post. The hosts are coming more into the game.
37 min: McGoldrick turns and picks out Chopra's run inside the City area, behind Keane, but the striker just fails to make contact.
45 min: Knockaert puts the ball into the box and Kane taps home the loose ball after challenging Henderson but the linesman's flag cuts short any celebrations.
45+1min: King fires a half-volley well wide from 25 yards out to complete the action of a half which has been competitive but lacking in real quality.

49 min: McGoldrick is in behind the City defence but Schmeichel makes a good save. It is the first time Ipswich have really opened up City. The hosts are on top now.
57 min: A terrible miss by Kane. Luke Chambers' back pass gives him only the keeper to beat but he side-foots the ball just past the post. He should have scored.
60 min: Chopra is again in behind Keane, but his first touch allows Schmeichel to come out and gather.
63 min: Ipswich hit City on the break and McGoldrick volleys well wide from inside the area.
70 min: City struggle to clear an Ipswich corner and the ball falls to Aaron Cresswell on the edge of the box but he shoots wide.
72 min: A great chance for Ritchie De Laet at the far post from Paul Gallagher's free-kick but the full-back can't connect.
76 min: Drinkwater's cross hits Richard Stearman's arm but referee Deadman says no to handball appeals.
76min: Drinkwater's shot from 25 yards out and centre of the goal is over the bar.
80 min: Wes Morgan is booked for continuing his protest with Ipswich substitute Daryl Murphy, who appeared to catch the City captain in the face with an elbow.
84 min: Konchesky's cross is headed over by Kane. It was just too high for him.
85 min: GOAL 1-0: Morgan makes an error and Murphy feeds McGoldrick, who beats Schmeichel from an acute angle. A real sucker-punch for City.
86 min: Lloyd Dyer pulls the ball back for Kane, who skips past a tackle but can't beat Henderson.
88 min: A goalmouth scramble and King's shot is deflected over the bar. Corner to City, who are piling on the pressure.
90 min: City pump the ball forward and it falls for King inside the area, but Jay Emmanuel-Thomas pulls off a great block. It is City's third defeat in five games and they have now lost eight of their 17 away games.
