A CITY MP will lead an inquiry into the nation's DNA database.

Leicester East MP Keith Vaz is chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, who yesterday said they would look into concerns outlined by the Human Genetic Commission.

Mr Vaz said: "I agree with the concerns of the commission in regards to the DNA database.

"The European Court of Human Rights has ruled it illegal to hold the DNA of innocent people, there are currently five million profiles on the database, of which an estimated 750,000 are innocent people who have not been charged."

    “Jihardi,

Bandwagon Vaz's appointment was nothing new. He was appointed as Chair of the most powerful of all Select Committees in Parliament on 26 July 2007.”

“Not a good idea to make VAZ the Chair as he is the biggest criminal and liar around and should be only given water 'til he dies”
