Leicester Tigers’ forward Tom Croft has been named as one of the replacements for England’s Six Nations game against Italy at Twickenham on Sunday.

Croft’s return to England colours comes less than a year after he suffered a serious neck injury while playing for Tigers against Harlequins.

Tom Youngs starts at hooker for England, who have won their first three matches in the tournament, with club-mates Dan Cole at prop and Geoff Parling in the second row.

Toby Flood is named at fly-half but Ben Youngs is among the replacements as Danny Care is given the starting role at scrum-half.
