23 min: YELLOW CARD After repeated infringes in the scrum, referee Andrew Small warns Gloucester skipper Jim Hamilton and then bins tight-head prop Shaun Knight as the visitors' collapse again.

26 min: PENALTY (3-6) Tigers are up in arms as Julian Salvi is penalised for going off his feet at a ruck. Tigers say he was pushed off his feet by Gloucester skipper Jim Hamilton. Burns steps up to give the 14-man visitors the lead.

28 min: Ford has already missed one penalty when he attempts his third kick of the afternoon. He makes a terrible contact, the ball skidding along the ground, hardly reaching the goal line.

34 min: YELLOW CARD Tigers had been warned for repeated offences at the breakdown and, when Ben Youngs delays Gloucester ball after making a tackle, he is binned.

44 min: YELLOW CARD As a Tigers attack breaks down, the visitors hack the ball upfield and Burns dives on top of it. As he tries to get up, Ford lays over the ball and becomes the second Tigers player to be binned. As he trudges off, Ben Youngs' spell in the cooler comes to an end but Leicester still have 14 men for another 10 minutes.

45 min: PENALTY (3-9) After Ford's yellow card, Burns steps up to increase Gloucester's lead.

46 min TRY (8-9) ) It is crucial that Leicester hit back quickly and they do just that. An attack flies through several quick phases and a flat pass from Ben Youngs opens up a small bit of space for Anthony Allen to exploit and score the game's only try. Murphy, kicking in the absence of Ford, misses the extras from the touchline.

53 min: YELLOW CARD The referee shows his fourth yellow card as Gloucester lock Will James goes off for cynical play.

53 min: PENALTY (11-9) Tigers go back in front as Murphy lands a penalty with Ford still serving time in the sin-bin.

60 min: PENALTY (14-9) Ford holds his nerve after returning to the pitch to extend Leicester's lead.

68 min: PENALTY (14-12) Burns narrows the gap to two points with his fourth of the game.

70 min: PENALTY (17-12) Ford strikes again.

80 min: Tigers earn a turnover on their own line and Ben Youngs boots the ball into the crowd to end the game.
