Leicester beer festival kicks-off with Richard III theme
The annual, four day Leicester Beer Festival kicked-off last night (March 20) at The Charotar Patidar Samaj in the city.
Hundreds of beer lovers packed into the venue that has been the home of the festival launch for the past 10 years.
Tracy Sales who helps organise the event said: "This is our annual festival and this year's theme is Richard III.
We took a bit of a risk when we decided to theme it around King Richard because he hadn't actually been formally identified when we made the decesion - it was around the time when his bones were first dug up. Luckily it was him.
