Two in Leicester court on attempted murder charges
Two people have appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Marie Tocher, of Ferrars Close, Castle Donington, and Christopher Wilson, of Meadow Avenue, Loughborough, appeared before Leicester magistrates.
The charge relates to an attack on a man while he was walking his dog in an alleyway off New Parks Boulevard on December 1. The 22-year-old suffered facial injuries.
Tocher, 19, and Wilson, 23, have been charged with attempted murder. Their case is due to be committed to Leicester Crown Court today. Wilson was remanded in custody and Tocher was released on bail.
David Tocher, 21, of Gracedieu Road, Loughborough, has also been charged with attempted murder. He has been remanded in custody until a crown court hearing in March 2010.
A 27-year-old man arrested in connection with the attack has been released on police bail.
