A pub is hosting a fund-raiser for the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal.

The Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Roger Blackmore, will be attending the event at The Almanack in Leicester's Highcross centre on Thursday evening.

The night will include dinner and live jazz, plus a raffle.

Cash raised will go to Leicester Children's Holiday Centre at Mablethorpe.

Tickets cost £15 per person, with all profits going to support the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal.
