Leicester's Lord Mayor sees slice of life on visit to prize pizza parlour
Lord Mayor of Leicester Roger Blackmore helped celebrate a pizza company's national award – and picked up a few tips on Italian fast food at the same time.
Councillor Blackmore visited Papa John's, in Narborough Road, Leicester, after the company won an award for best delivery chain at the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Industry Awards.

The Lord Mayor was accompanied by his wife and the Lady Mayoress, Hilary Blackmore.
Store owner Kunal Jogia said: "We invited them both to come along and have a look at what we do and to show them how we make our pizzas.
"We went through the whole process, from taking an order to putting a topping on.
"The Lady Mayoress was a bit more of a dab hand than her husband.
"While the award is for the whole company, it is down to each and every store. It shows our standards are high and it is a great achievement for us all."
