Leicester teenager held after car chase
A 14-year-old boy from Leicester has been arrested following a late-night chase that involved police dogs and the force helicopter.
The pursuit started at 11.40pm on Thursday after a caravan was reported as missing from Midland Terrace in Ambergate, Derbyshire.
Traffic officers chased a green Renault Megane that was towing the caravan down the A6 towards Derby. It stopped in Woodlands Close, Little Eaton, and two males got out and tried to flee the scene.
A teenager was arrested on suspicion of theft. A police spokesman said: "The youth has been interviewed by detectives and has been bailed pending further inquiries."
