Leicestershire seamer Nathan Buck has received an England Lions call-up for the second consecutive winter.

Buck toured the West Indies earlier this year and spent the first part of this winter with the England Performance Programme (EPP) at a three-week training camp in England and Wales.

The 20-year-old is currently attending an EPP fast-bowling camp in Potchefstroom, South Africa, in a tour party that includes Leicestershire CCC high performance coach Lloyd Tennant,

After a break for Christmas and New Year, Buck will travel with the Lions to face Bangladesh A in five one-day matches and two t20 games between January 2 and 24.

The fixtures will be played in Chittagong, Syllhet and Dhaka, and a further tour to Sri Lanka follows from January 24 to February 7. The team will face Sri Lanka A, who they played in England last summer, in five one-day matches.

There may also be a one-day fixture against the full England side in Abu Dhabi on February 10.

James Taylor, who recently left County to join Nottinghamshire, is captain of the Lions squad.

Buck is extremely pleased to be selected again and County chief executive Mike Siddall is proud of the call-up.

Siddall said: "We're absolutely delighted that Nathan has been selected for the England Lions tour party.

"He is yet another product of the Leicestershire development system and great credit goes to bowling coach Lloyd Tennant, who has worked with Nathan over a number of years."
