The Leicester girls will be looking for their first win of 2013, having lost their opening game of the year in an exciting encounter with the Bristol Harbour Harlots at the Midlands Roller Arena on January 26.

Team captain Sarah Brooks said: "The team have been working solidly on the build up to these bouts. We know they will be both physically and mentally demanding, so we've been hitting the gym hard and working on our mental toughness.

"The standard of European Roller Derby is really high at the moment, we're taking a strong team to Belgium and we can't wait to see how we measure up."

Roller Derby is an American team skating sport that has become the fastest growing female sport in the UK.

Teams score points by having their points-scoring player 'the jammer' lap the opposing team's 'blockers'.

The team with the most points win the game.

The Dolly Rockit Rollers are Leicestershire's first and only Roller Derby team.

Formed in 2010, they are members of the UK Roller Derby Association (UKRDA) and an apprentice member of the worldwide roller derby governing body, the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

They currently number around 80 active skaters.
