Leicestershire universities in top 10 for student satisfaction
Students at two of Leicestershire's universities are some of the most satisfied in the country, according to a new survey.
The annual National Student Survey (NSS) has placed and the University of Leicester at number four and Loughborough University at equal seventh place in its table of English universities, only narrowly behind Oxford, Cambridge and Bath.
The rankings are based on the average score from 23 questions covering all aspects of the student experience including teaching, assessment, support, management and resources. In 2012, 287,000 final-year students from across the UK responded to the NSS.
