Three Alliance League sides have booked their places in the third round of the County Sunday Premier Cup.

Star & Garter impressed with a 5-0 victory over Ashby Rovers, with all their goals coming in the first half. Kieran Linnett led the way with a hat-trick, while Jim Mee and Karl Towers also netted.

Advance Couriers came out on top against the very strong Charnwood team, Whitwick Compass, Kelvin Atkins and Andy Tiday securing a 2-0 win.

Sparta Moshdock saw off Sporting Flynns, of the Hinckley Sunday League, 7-2. There was a five-goal haul for Aaron Preston, plus singles from Sam Gillespie and Jon Tature.

Albion led the Hinckley Sunday League charge with a 6-3 win over GT. Scott Pickering netted a hat-trick for Albion, while Lee Wileman added a couple.

Two goals in the dying minutes earned Ellis Park a 3-1 win against Glenfield Town. Collins, McGarry and an own goal made up their tally. Andrew Buckle scored for Glenfield.

Ashby Tavern overcame Premier Sports Travel 3-1 with Adam Stapleford-Jones netting two of them.

Sporting Dynamo suffered a 9-0 defeat at Appleby Magna and Swan & Hove also conceded nine goals, going down 9-3 to East Goscote Roofing.

Intersport went through by beating Britannia 5-2, Linnett and Hemsley claiming two apiece.

Leicester Foxes OB cruised into the third round of the County Sunday Intermediate Cup with a 3-0 win over Beaumont Town.

Andy May, James Rigby and Matt Shuter were the goal heroes for the Alliance League side.

Enderby Town overcame Melton-based Hamilton United 4-3.

Leading scorer Sam Young managed a double while Sam Millar and Nick Owen also netted.

Duke of Rutland Reserves, leaders of Hinckley Sunday League Division One, suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 4-0 by Westfield Wanderers.

Cross Keys beat Hinckley rivals Tin Hat 6-1 with Barwick claiming two of them.

A Ryan Bayliss penalty was not enough for Fosse City at FC Poplar, who went down 2-1, as did fancied Thurmaston WMP at Birstall Stamford Reserves by the same margin despite a Jamie Sharman strike.
