Performing arts students have raised almost £500 for their school by hosting an entertainment night.

The Brooksby Melton College students held the event at Bistro Live, in the city centre, earlier this month.

About 80 people attended the event, which featured stand-up comedians, singers and dancers.

The night was organised by four girls from Edit, the college's performing arts group, which will benefit from the money raised.
