Local cricket: Burbage eye up repeat
Burbage will be hoping for case of deja vu on Saturday as the battle to avoid relegation from the Senior League Premier Division reaches a thrilling climax.
Tom Payne's side won on the final day of the season last year to avoid the drop and they will need to repeat that feat this weekend as any two of Burbage, Hinckley, Hathern and Wigston will fall into Division One.
Wigston (160 points), who continued their remarkable attempt at the Great Escape with a fifth win in seven games, take on Hinckley (175) in a game that both sides will be desperate to win.
Hathern (160) travel to mid-table Ivanhoe, while Burbage (173 points) have to go to Woodhouse Eaves in search of the 13 points or more that would secure their safety.

Payne, who is standing down at the end of the season, said his side would have to be at their best when it mattered most.
"It will be tough and we are away from home, but we have done it before and I am hopeful that will stand us in good stead," he said.
"We have got a strong side out but we have to play as well as we know we can do. That is something we haven't been doing recently.
"I am disappointed that we are in this position, but we only have ourselves to blame.
"Nobody in the league would begrudge Wigston staying up after what they have been though. I just hope we are the ones staying up with them."

“Maybe the right result if Burbage go down as that woulld be a penalty for them because of the Lutterworth points lose farce..!!”
