Love Business East Midlands networking event to return to Castle Donington, Leicestershire next year
A business networking event will return next year after it attracted 1,900 people.
Love Business East Midlands, aimed at sharing expertise among small and medium-sized companies, took place at Donington Park last week.
About 85 businesses exhibited at the day-long event, which was in its second year.
Stephen Megson, managing director of organiser, Quiet Storm of Whitwick, said the number of visitors was about 25 per cent up on last year. He said the aim was for next year's event to be bigger.

"The idea is smaller businesses don't get contact with larger and more successful, or even other smaller businesses, and don't know what works and what doesn't work other than by trial and error – this is about sharing that," said Mr Megson.
Matt Youdale, of Arch Communications, in Loughborough, said: "What events like this show is that grass roots businesses are alive and well."
The event featured keynote speeches from consultant Andy Gilbert, managing director of Go Mad Thinking, of Woodhouse Eaves. Bookings are now being taken for 2014.
