A man was arrested after police drugs raids at three addresses in New Parks, Leicester.

Police raided the properties in Rowanberry Avenue yesterday and found what is believed to be heroin, crack-cocaine and cannabis in a flat. A pit-bull type dog was also seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Sergeant Adam Wardle said: “Intelligence generated by officers and members of the public led us to believe that controlled drugs were present at the addresses, and I am pleased with the success of the operation.”

As a result of the operation, a 25 year-old-man received a police caution for possession of cannabis, and a 36-year-old-man arrested on suspicion of drugs offences was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
