Man arrested after sex attack in sandwich shop in Charles Street, Leicester
A man has been arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted in a sandwich shop in Charles Street, Leicester.
A man entered the Subway shop at 6.05am on Friday, August 17, and approached a member of staff asking to use the toilet.
She asked him to leave as the shop was not open, which he did but as she went to lock the door behind him he came back in and used the bathroom. He then sexually assaulted the woman in a store room.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
