Man pleads guilty to attack at Rainbow and Dove, Leicester
A man is to be sentenced later this month for an attack in a pub which left two men with serious burns.
Mitchell Dean (22) has admitted the attack at the Rainbow and Dove, Leicester, last October. He doused Russell Banks and Robert Laszewsk with a flammable liquid and set them alight in the pub beer garden.

Dean, formerly of Laindon, in Essex, admitted two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent at Basildon Crown Court last month. He is due to be sentenced at the same court on Thursday, September 27.

“How could he plead anything else he went with inflammable liquid I do hope the judge gives him a long sentence this was planned not a spur of the moment thing and he deserves a very long jail sentence for it”
