Man punched in face while walking in Leicester street
A man was punched in the face while he was walking along a street in Leicester.
The 57-year-old victim was in Astill Lodge Road, Beaumont Leys, when a man came up to him, punched him in the face and ran off.

The victim chased his attacker and was assaulted again leaving him with a cut to his finger. The man then ran off along Maplewell Drive.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the attack which happened at about 11am last Saturday.

The suspect is white, aged about 19, around 5ft 10in tall, of a stocky build with short mousey or light brown hair. He was wearing a hooded top, jeans and trainers.
Pc Nigel Finney said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the incident take place.
“Maybe you were driving through and saw the suspect making off. Any information could help with our enquiries.”
