Man's nose and jaw broken in attack on Humberstone Road, Leicester
A man received a broken nose and jaw during an assault in Humberstone Road, Leicester.
Police have just released details of the attack which took place in the early hours of Sunday.
The 42-year-old was walking home at about 2.30am when he was attacked by three men near the junction with Mornington Street.
Officers are appealing for witnesses. Detective Constable Kris Howe said: “Humberstone Road is a major route in and out of the city centre so there is a good chance that there will have been someone around who may have witnessed what happened. They could have even seen where these men went after the assault.
