In each of the crimes the offender was black, between 5ft 5in and 6ft and wearing a dark hoodie.
Detective Inspector Mark Pattison said: “We have released images of a man who we are keen to locate in relation to this series of armed robberies.
“We would urge him to make contact with us and for anyone with any information to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 and quote Operation Needle.
“Thankfully, no-one was hurt in any of these incidents, however they have been extremely traumatic for the cashiers and the businesses have lost money.
“We are working closely with the other forces where we believe the offences have been committed by the same man and are confident that someone has information that can help.”

“Someone should recognise him from this picture. The problem is with perceived mandatory non-custodial sentencing for this type of crime, he will be back re-offending after his day in court.
Wouldn't be surprised if he is already on first name terms with the magistrates anyway.”

“Despite the mans attempts to hide his face, this is a good clear image.
Someone will recognize him from this image, I just hope they do the right thing and give the police a name, before this nonsense escalates any further.”
