Wigston: The Mayor of Oadby and Wigston will be at the launch of the Girl Guiding 1920 to 2010 exhibition at the Record Office, Long Street, on Tuesday.

On Thursday, at 6.10pm, he will attend the Prophet Muhammad birthday celebrations at Oadby and Wigston Muslim Association Community Centre, in Oadby.

He will take part in the mayor of Melton's Wiz Quiz, in Melton, on Friday.

Birstall: Charnwood Borough Council has organised guided walks across the area between now and April.
