A public meeting will take place tonight about plans to build 400 homes.

Hugglescote and Donington le Heath Parish Council has organised the meeting to discuss a scheme put forward by Miller Homes to build off Highfield Street and Standard Hill, in Hugglescote.

Parish councillor Stephen Watson said: "There are a lot of people who are very concerned about this proposal and its impact on the village."

The meeting will be held at Hugglescote Community Centre, Grange Road, at 7.30pm.
