Missing woman Jade Damsell is safe and well, say Leicestershire Police
A woman who went missing from home last week has contacted police to confirm she is safe.
Jade Damsell, 20, contacted police yesterday, (TUES) eight days after she was reported missing by friends in Leicester with whom she had been staying.

Police and relatives were concerned because Ms Damsell, who has a mild learning disability, had never gone missing before.
A Leicestershire Police spokesman said yesterday: "She made contact with officers this morning to confirm that she was out of the county but safe and well. Jade's family has also been informed."
