A stunt team will be headlining this year's Heart of the Forest Festival.

Moto-Stunt International, which performs stunts on four and two-wheeled machines, will be at the festival in Measham on Sunday, June 22.

Festival chairman Bob Bissell said: "We are delighted to have secured such a wonderful high-adrenalin act which we are sure will delight the crowds.

"For the seventh year in succession we are having free entrance and hope to see more families taking up this opportunity to have a great day out."

Roads in Measham will close for the Grand Parade that will precede the afternoon's activities on the festival grounds.

Marching bands have all been secured and floats are being prepared for schools and activity clubs.

The parade will also feature several car, scooter and tractor clubs, and possibly some tanks.

Mr Bissell said: "It's a day of celebration for everyone who lives in the National Forest."
