Motorcyclist killed in Great Dalby crash is named

A motorcyclist who died after a crash in Great Dalby has been named.

Paul Sharrod, 47, from Nuneaton, received serious injuries and was taken to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire, where he later died.

The crash happened at about 10.35am on Thursday, September 6, on the B6047, Nether End, and involved one vehicle, a blue Suzuki GSX motorcycle.

Detective Constable Nick Bryan is investigating the collision, he said: “The motorcyclist was travelling along the B6047 towards Melton when the collision occurred.
