Motorsport: Fine first season for Cameron Twynham
Cameron Twynham has finished a creditable fourth in the InterSteps Championship.
In the final round at Croft, north Yorkshire, the 16-year-old from Market Harborough claimed two fifth places and a third.

It brought an end to a successful first season in single-seaters with Fortecs Motorsport, made all the more satisfying by the fact he was the youngest competitor in the series, aimed at aspiring drivers aged 16 to 19.
The meeting wasn't without incident, Twynham leaving the track in race one before finishing fifth. The second outing led to a seventh podium of the season, before bad luck struck in the third when he was hit from behind and had to pit.

After a new rear wing and set of slick tyres were fitted, he managed to rejoin the race and come home fifth, setting the fastest lap in the process.
"I am really pleased with my performance at Croft," said Twynham. "I drove the wheels off the car as I wanted to end the season on a high.
"Overall I am very happy as I have exceeded my expectations for my first season in single-seater racing.
"To be fourth in the championship and the youngest driver to complete the season shows I'm going in the right direction."
Top was Matthew Parry with 649 points, from Matt Mason, 589, Jack Aitken, 490, and Twynham 412.
