Murder inquiry launched after body found in Marriott Road, Saffron Lane, Leicester
A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found in a property in Marriott Road, Saffron Lane, Leicester.
Police discovered the body at the property at around 3.35pm yesterday.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Hewson said: “Our investigation is in its very early stages and we are currently trying to establish what has happened.
“We are trying to piece together the circumstances that led to this death and would urge anyone who has information or recalls seeing anything suspicious to please contact police.”
