Natural burials plan at 'beautiful' spot
A landowner is hoping to turn a picturesque field into a natural burial site.
The six-acre field belongs to P&G Stables, in South Croxton, near Melton.

Paul Seymour, co-owner of the stables, has applied to Charnwood Borough Council for permission to use the site for natural burials.
The option has become popular over the past decade. The Natural Burial Company has two sites in the county.
Paul, 62, said he might use an outside company, or run the business himself after he retires in three years.
He said: "It's a six-acre site that I've used for horses and it's an absolutely beautiful piece of countryside.
"I've put in for planning permission and there have been no objections at all so, hopefully, it will go through all right.
"We thought about using it for a pet cemetery a few years ago. But our vet has always said what a great spot it would make for natural burials."
If the land becomes a natural burial site, there will be no headstones – just a tree planted on each grave.
Paul added: "Most churchyards are full now and we could probably get thousands of people on this site. It would be a lovely final resting place."
