New artists put their work on display
Art students have been given the chance to showcase their work for the first time.
The exhibition Scope features paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations by more than 20 artists at Loughborough University.
The work has been on display at Leicester's Fabrika gallery, in Humberstone Gate.
The exhibition has been staged by Traverse Creatives, an events management organisation dedicated to promoting new artists and designers.
It finishes tomorrow , but people are invited to meet the artists and discuss their creations at a party from 6pm to 10pm tonight, which includes live music.
Adam Kirk, founder of the Fabrika gallery, said: "We've had a very busy week, with plenty of visitors showing a lot of interest in the artwork.
"Each piece represents a novel and fresh approach to the field of art and design and we're delighted to be able to give emerging artists a chance to showcase their talent."
