New boys make an impression
East Goscote Plumbers Premier Division new boys Greenhill YC pulled off a fine 8-2 victory over Birstall Old Boys.
George Hickling (3), James Armstrong (2), Brett Meers, Danny Morris and Matt Lee did the damage with James Jackson hitting both Birstall goals.
Kyle Sperry (3), Ritchie Parker (2), Mark Brown and Phil Pearce netted to give Anstey Town a 7-0 win at home to Kegworth Town.
Whitwick FC came from behind to win 3-2 at Sileby Victoria. James Jarvis, Matt Hickey and Ollie Hunter led the revival after Martyn Lewin and Mark Chater had given Sileby the advantage.

Loughborough Athletic beat Sutton Bonington 3-0 thanks to Andrew Heffer, Saeed Nazari and Tom Carr.
Goals from Kyle Haddon (3), Andy Glover and Matt Simms kicked off Sileby Saints Reserves' campaign in Sports Advocate Division Two, their 5-0 win coming at Loughborough FC Reserves.
Ravenstone United Reserves won 4-2 at home against Ferrari FC with Max Carroll (3) and Wayne Storer on the mark.
A Nick Walsh goal helped Victoria FC to a 1-0 win over Belton Villa, while new side Whitwick White Horse won 5-1 away at Thurmaston Rangers. Matt Platts (2), Graham Hutchinson, Brett Finney and Ashley Edkins were the Horse marksmen.
In Windmill Trophies Division Three, new side Forest Road Rangers won 3-1 at Loughborough Galaxy.
Their goals came from Riaz Stephenson, Andy Sherwood and goalkeeper Roger Birch, who scored from his own 18- yard box.
