An industrial unit is set to be turned into a martial arts studio.

Leicester Mixed Martial Arts Ltd has received planning permission to turn the unit at St Mary's Works, in Burnmoor Street, Leicester, into a new base for its organisation.

It will be used in the evenings for martial arts classes.

The industrial unit was previously occupied by a screen printing company, but the martial arts company wants to take it over as its lease on its current building in Leicester's High Street is due to come to an end.
