New year, new look!
Welcome to Wave 2011. You might have noticed there have been a few changes – a new year, a new look and new editors.
We would like to give our thanks and appreciation to last year's editor Kate Stewart, without whom Wave could never have become the success it is.
Following the frantic fortnight we've just had, we can fully appreciate just how much work that is – and there's two of us!
We would also like to thank a couple of people for helping us achieve our new-look Wave.

Meera Sakaria did a great job on the design of our boost on the front page.
Laura Whitehouse created the Leicester Wave banner which will appear on all forthcoming editions.
Change is always a big theme on the turn of any year, but 2011 brings huge ones for young people.
With the vote on electoral reforms looming, the axe taken to EMA and a generation of students facing university debts as much as £50,000, big challenges lie ahead. But Wave is still here to ensure young people get their views, frustrations and ideas heard, so if you've got something to say, let us know! Luckily it's not all doom and gloom, with an array of festivals this month and next.
Wave is an open platform for under-25s to showcase their talents, gain experience and be heard, so if you're an aspiring journalist, writer, cartoonist or photographer or even just an opinionated so-and-so, get in touch, send us your stuff and get involved.
