Night of Faith and devotion
Swathed in an elaborate red geisha gown, Paloma Faith cuts a striking figure as she stands in front of the hushed crowd at De Montfort Hall.
The singer, well known for her unusual fashion choices, makes no apologies for her quirky choice of outfit for the evening.
"If you want to be a geisha, be a geisha," she tells her fans with a chuckle.
Starting with songs from her second and most recent album, Fall To Grace, Paloma's voice instantly captivates. If ever anyone was born to sing, born to perform, it's Paloma. Her show has everything – including a background of gold palm trees. Well, why not, eh?

Never Tear Us Apart is spellbinding, and made completely her own, Stone Cold Sober has everyone singing along and she even throws in a cover of Etta James's Something's Got A Hold On Me, just because Leicester is so "spectacular" (although I get the feeling she might say that to all the crowds).
Not only is the singer a fabulous talent, she knows how to work a room. The set is peppered with interactions with the audience and she never fails to raise a laugh.
She's funny and it's obvious she's having a lot of fun up there, too.
By the time she gets to the end of her set, for tracks including Picking Up The Pieces, there's no-one left sitting in the room.
At least, there really shouldn't have been.
Effortlessly entertaining.
