Norwich City 1 Leicester City 2
Leicester City booked their place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup after a fantastic victory at Premier League Norwich City.
David Nugent scored City's winner in the 71st minute to put City into the last eight for the first time in seven years.
Sean St Ledger had given City a great start with a header from a corner after just five minutes but Norwich levelled after referee Mike Dean penalised goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel for a push on Elliott Bennett and Wes Hoolahan scored on the rebound after Schmeichel had superbly stopped his initial spot kick.
Wes Morgan had an effort cleared off the line by Elliott Ward in the first half and Richie Wellens did likewise for City to deny Leon Barnett in the second period.
The Canaries applied plenty of pressure in the closing stages but City also looked threatening on the break and Jermaine Beckford struck the post as City claimed a famous victory.

“26Trigger56....if you think that anyone can gel a new squad in thirteen games, don't give up your day job, because you'll never replace Lineker on MOTD. Look after that broom, with 12 new handles & 11 new heads :-)”

“FoxFan1. Arsenal were in the Premier league back then only it was called the first division same league different name. It makes me laugh when people say Spurs or Ipswich or Portsmouth and other teams have never won the Premier league, well they have only it was called the first division then but is still the same league. If you moved into a house and it was called the pines but after a few years you changed it to the gables it would still be the same house.”

Surrey_Fox...if you think my angles weak..."Just for the record, playing and captaining a premier league team that played a wembley surely gives him some credibility wouldn't you think??"....errrrr FRANK McLINTOCK ???????????????? (& yes, I know Arsenal weren't in the Premiership back then, so don't split hairs!) :-)

“Flipping Heck,, Just remembered.............
We actually WON this game....
Sort of forgot because 90% of the posts are ****g**g each other off?
Can see why the atmosphere could be better at the KP. We just need to go down there to support the team as one lot of supporters and not many fragmentations!
At Norwich we were ALL clearly there for the same cause and it was awesome!
Please take note the rest of you.. Join in, you never know you just might enjoy it.”
