into the Olney net. Oadby's next goal was scored by Jake Duffy when the Olney
keeper picked up the ball without realising it was a back pass and from the
resulting free kick Stefan Oakes laid the ball to Duffy who rifled it into the
top of the net.
As the game continued Oadby looked to be well in control and a third goal was subsequently scored by
Nick Pollard to seal the game. This now means Oadby have won their last seven
league games and are second in the league just behind Northampton Sileby
Rangers who visit Freeway Park, Wigston Road on February 2nd. The win was even
more impressive as Oadby were without players like Jon Stevenson who was
unavailable due to injury, Ollie Brown-Hill and Che Adams who were both away on
County U/18 duty. This Tuesday sees Oadby travel to Quorn Town in the
United Counties League Knock Out Cup with a 7.45pm kick off.
