After last Tuesday's below par performance, Oadby Town returned to their normal style of play on Saturday when they entertained Buckingham Town at Freeway Park. After early exchanges of play, Oadby looked in control and took the lead in the 18th minute when Elliott Wright opened the scoring. Oadby Town were playing a more committed game by pressing the Buckingham Town team into their own half for much of the match and a close range tap in by Ollie Brown-Hill increased the advantage just before half time. The second half was much the same with Oadby Town moving forward and Buckingham Town only having the odd chances to attack which were dealt with by the Oadby defence and Denham Hinds in the Oadby goal. Oadby finally got their rewards in the 88th and 89th minutes when Jon Stevenson and Luke McDonald both scored to make it 4 - 0 to Oadby Town.

This now leads to a run of away fixtures for the Oadby Town team with the next home game on 26th March against Burton Park Wanderers kick off 7.45pm.
