Oadby and Wigston Borough Council's tax frozen again
District councillors have voted to freeze their share of the council tax for the third year in a row.
The Oadby and Wigston Borough Council share of the bill for a band D home for the 12 months from April will be £202.60.
John Boyce, leader of the council said: "Through being more innovative and efficient we have again been able to protect all of our key front line services.
"We are now only one of a handful of councils in the whole of the country that have kept a promise to keep free shoppers car parking in the town centres and to provide weekly refuse and recycling collections."
