The executive director of an environmental charity will be giving a public lecture tomorrow.

Andy Atkins, from Friends of the Earth, will be speaking at the University of Leicester, at a lecture organised by the charity and the university's geography society.

The event takes place at 6pm in the Bennett Building.

Mr Atkins will be talking about how the kind of measures we need to take to protect our environment could also make a big contribution towards mending the economy.
